Charming place from the outside. Interesting to say the least from the inside (would not have expected the interior to be a sports bar w/ flat screen TVs playing during the show?). Visited Dayton,OH with no expectations and as coincidence would have it stumbled upon the SP Tavern for the music! Had a magical time at the Wooden Birds and Dan Mangan show last Friday. It was amazing to see/hear/feel the experience in such a small venue. Dan and Leslies voices were amazing together (as someone said while I was there..”it sounded like velvet”). The pizza and beer were fabulous too. If not a regular to the SP Tavern, I would not expect the most expedited service from the wait staff. No worries though-all part of the experience. I should come back more often to gain “the regular” status. Thanks again for the great night SP Tavern!
